WAX OIL IMPREGNATION
Impregnating wood with oil is an effective way to maintain its attractive appearance and protect it from ageing and wear. To this end, KostaGame uses only natural oils from reliable manufacturers.
Technology
Compared to lacquer, surfaces covered with wax oil preserve the natural structure of the wood. The oil emphasizes the wood's inherent beauty and depth, giving it a warm, attractive appearance.
Product protection is effective because the oil penetrates deep into the wood's pores, protecting it from deformation and forming a resilient protective layer on the surface. Furthermore, applying several layers creates a robust protective film on the surface. Unlike some varnishes and paints, this coating is resistant to chipping, cracking and peeling.
The oil creates a micro porous surface that allows the wood to expand and contract with changes in temperature and humidity, eliminating the risk of cracking or peeling. This breath ability helps to maintain the wood's integrity over time. It also protects the wood from moisture, stains and scratches.
Oil-treated wood surfaces remain smooth and natural to the touch, rather than feeling 'plastic'. The wax oil we use has anti-static properties to help reduce dust accumulation, which is beneficial for those with allergies to fine dust.

Marquetry enables a high level of detail and color variety to be achieved, as it uses many types of wood, ranging from light oak and cherry to dark ebony and rosewood. The veneer can be tinted, heat-treated or artificially aged to achieve the desired shade. This technique is often used to create panels, cabinet fronts, countertops, door inserts, and wall compositions. Marquetry is ideal for depicting landscapes, scenes and architectural elements.
